East Canada’s NOIA says effective environmental assessment processes critical to offshore development

With legislative changes imminent, the Newfoundland and Labrador Oil and Gas Industries Association, Noia, continues to advocate for renewed environmental assessment processes and calls on the federal government to designate the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board (C-NLOPB) as Responsible Authority (RA) for these assessments.
